We are so excited to welcome you all to our wedding weekend at the Moon Palace The Grand in Cancun, Mexico! On this tab, you'll find some FAQs and key pieces of information about our group booking process.
We have set up a group reservation service with our travel agent, Indian Destination Wedding, to make this experience as easy as possible for our guests.
We have arranged special events for our wedding weekend and in order to participate in these events, you must book hotel accommodations through our travel agent. If you make your own hotel arrangements, you will incur additional fees in order to participate in our events at the resort. Please note, a three (3) night minimum stay is required, but you are welcome to extend your vacation using our special group rates.
Where should I stay?
We kindly request all guests to lodge at the Moon Palace the Grand in Cancun, Mexico. More information can be found on the "Hotel" tab.
How can I book my stay?
We kindly require all guests to book their hotel accommodations through our group reservation managed by Indian Destination Wedding to participate in our wedding events and special room block rates.
Per resort policy, all guests must book their stay through Indian Destination Wedding. Third party bookings (ie: Expedia, Costco travel, credit card points, the actual resort website) will result in incurred charges.

How many days should I stay?
A three night minimum stay is required but you are welcome to extend your vacation using our special group rates. We hope that the long Labor day weekend allows you to stay an extra day or two!
What's included in the rate?
Rates on the booking website do NOT include flights. The rates will vary according to room occupancy, so please check with our travel agent based on your specific needs.
Rates listed on the website include the following:
1. All inclusive accommodations at Moon Palace The Grand, including meals, drinks and activities as defined by the resort.
2. Special food catered for all private wedding events.
3. All taxes, fees and tips, bellman and housekeeping fees.
4. Waived private event fees.
5. Resort credit (of $500 per room) applies to a 4 night or more stay.
6. Two complimentary rounds of golf per room applies to a 4 night or more stay.
What airport should I fly into?
We recommend flying into Cancun International Airport (CUN). Guests have the option to book flights on their own or book directly with our travel agent, Indian Destination Wedding.
How do I get to/from the airport?
Roundtrip Airport transfers from Cancun International Airport (CUN) are $25 per person. Roundtrip airport transfers will be automatically added and reflected for every guest in their confirmation and invoice when booking rooms through Indian Destination Wedding. All airport transfers are non-refundable after final payment.
When and where will the wedding events take place?
We will be getting married at the Moon Palace the Grand Resort in Cancun, Mexico. Wedding events will begin on Friday August 30, 2024 and check-out will be on Monday September 02, 2024.

Having RSVP issues?
Please enter the legal first and last name of one member of your party when prompted on the RSVP tab.
→ ie: "Kirit Shah" (not Kiritbhai, The Shah Family, or Dr/Mr. Shah)
If you're responding for you and a guest (or your family), you'll be able to RSVP for your entire group under the RSVP tab. All event details will appear after you enter your personal details.
Are there any additional costs?
The only additional costs will be airfare, airport transfers, and optional add-ons for things such as spa treatments, outside excursions, eating/drinking outside the resort, travel away from the resort, etc.
Otherwise, the rate will cover all inclusive accommodations at Moon Palace The Grand, including meals, drinks and activities as defined by the resort, special catered food during the wedding events, all taxes, fees/tips, bellman/housekeeping tips, and waived private event fees. If staying 4 or more nights, your rate will also include $500 resort credit (per room) and 2 complimentary rounds of golf (transfer to/from golf resort not included).
Why a destination wedding?
Those that know us know we love to travel so when it came to our wedding, we knew this would be the one chance to plan the biggest trip with all the people we love in one place. We loved the thought of being in a tropical destination celebrating our love with our close family and friends.
We've had a wonderful time in Cancun before & we can't wait to share the experience & celebrate our big day with the people we love most!
Is the resort child friendly?
Both the resort and all of our wedding events are child friendly! Also note that lodging for children between the ages of 0 to 17 is free.
Moon Palace the Grand is a very child friendly resort with facilities in place to cater to your children’s needs. The resort houses a fully functional daycare service and personal childcare is also available if needed (please inquire with our travel agent, Indian Destination Wedding, for more details).
